We also provide preliminary FEA and kinematic simulations to validate concepts early on. This helps to minimise the number of prototyping cycles and accelerate time to market.
Traditional MCAD systems often lack the advanced surfacing capabilities needed for complex designs. We use specialized software to model complex shapes and surfaces, which can then be imported into your MCAD system.
Already have the software but need help with surface modelling? Let us know what system you use, and we’ll explore how we can assist. If your software aligns with our capabilities, we can create the required geometry directly in your CAD environment to ensure seamless integration.
We are proficient in working with PTC Creo, Siemens Solid Edge, and Autodesk Fusion 360. From simple geometries to complex structures, we design parts of all kinds. We deliver production-quality engineering models and technical drawings tailored to your specifications, with particular expertise in sheet metal parts, injection-moulded plastics, and die castings.
Need work done in a different CAD system? Let us know, and we’ll explore how to create native models in your preferred software.
Through a network of reliable suppliers, we offer a broad range of high-quality prototype parts, including CNC-milled parts, sheet metal components, 3D-prints, and urethane castings. Our prototyping services are designed to help you iterate and refine your designs efficiently.
Please note that this service is only available as part of a development contract.
We’re happy to support your development projects beyond the prototype phase. We assist with industrialisation and help guide projects to production readiness. As part of this process, we support the evaluation of samples and pre-production runs to ensure parts meet quality standards and design specifications.
While comprehensive measurement and inspection reports are typically provided by your preferred suppliers, we can also arrange for parts to be inspected by a trusted local partner, who specialises in parts evaluation using state-of-the-art technology and methods.

We are a small, family-owned business. Versatile, efficient & friendly.
With more than 20 years of experience, Arif is an expert in CAD and the development of sheet metal parts, moulded plastics, and castings. As the creative force behind Polygnosis, he is passionate about delivering innovative solutions for our clients.
In his free time, he enjoys riding motorcycles, spending time with his cats, and experimenting with new recipes.
Arif most recently worked in product development at Polaris Industries, where he was a Design Engineer responsible for developing subsystems in motorcycle and vehicle engineering.
In addition, he supported the Industrial Design Team Europe as a Studio Engineer, taking on technical tasks in the early concept and design phases of Polaris products.
Previously, Arif spent 11 years in product development at Schaerer AG, where he primarily developed sheet metal and injection-moulded components. During this time, he gained extensive expertise in this field and valuable experience in the coffee machine industry.
Melanie brings valuable experience from her many years in technical purchasing. At Polygnosis, she takes on part of the management responsibilities, working alongside Arif to build the company.
Most recently, Melanie held various roles at Schaerer AG , including strategic purchasing and as deputy department head. She later transitioned to operational purchasing, working part-time while completing her training as a licensed naturopath. Her responsibilities included procuring and managing a broad range of items, such as injection-moulded and die-cast components, as well as turned and milled parts.
